Scrapbooking

During the middle of 2010 I discovered Project Life! Im not sure why it took me so long to discover this amazing technique but thank the Gods I have found it now! Becky Higgins is a loved lady amongst the scrapbooking community! Her interesting, fun, and down to earth blog is only the start. Becky began a career with Creating Keepsakes Magazine in 1997, her montly articles and columns are one thing that drew me to the magazine. In 2009, Becky left Creating Keepsakes and launched her own company, Becky Higgins LLC, and this my friends is where Project Life was created!

Beckys amazing organized approach to scrapbooking has allowed my family and I to cherish every waking moment of our lives. Beckys Project Life kit comes with everything you need. From the binder, to the stickers. With Project Life you choose to take photos, daily, weekly, monthly, however you like. Beckys organized page protectors have the perfect measured slots, so all we have to do is add our Journaling cards (they're included!), our title cards (they're included too), our stickers (Yes, they're included as well) and our own photos! How much more simple could she make this?

For busy moms, this project is a DREAM!

5 Reasons I LOVE Project Life:

1. It is Rewarding
There is no greater pride then showing my friends and family our life together. My scrapbooks are a prized possession of mine. I can't help but display a goofy grin when someone asks to view my scrapbooks! This method of scrapbooking allows viewers to see every special moment in my life.

2. It Keeps me Organized
Lets be honest...in my craft space I have three binders filled with my plans and sketches for "to be completed" pages. The stacks of photos build up and I rarely get the time to scrapbook them. Project Life provides the page protectors pre organized and all I need to do is add my jounralling cards and coresponding pages.

3. Its fun!
Besides being able to see my life unfold in gorgeous binders, Project Life allows me to relive everyday as if it happened yesterday!

4. Improves my Skills
Because I know these memories will be shared and cherished forever I spent a quick moment planning my writing and photography positions. This has project has ultimately improved my writing skills, penmanship, and my creativness when taking photos.

5. A Money Saving Value
Lets face it - Scrapbooking gets expensive! With Project life everything you need for an entire YEAR is provided in one box! Imagine the money you will save not having to purchase paper, stickers, cartdridges, embellishments, binders, punches, and the list goes on!
