Hoflands Chicken Broccoli Casserole
This recipe is a definite favourite in our house! I learned how to cook this recipe at a young age from a friend. To this day it is the best, and easiest meal to create for my family! This recipe is a simplified version of the Campbells Chicken Casserole.
Preperation Time: 15 Minutes
Cooking Time: 30 Minutes
Ingredients *To serve 4*
- 1/2 pound broccoli, trimmed and cut into bit sized pieces
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
- 1 can Mushroom soup
- 1/2 can chicken broth
- 4 cups cooked rice
- Trim the broccoli and chicken into bite sized pieces.
- In a pot, cook the rice.
- Mix the broccoli, chicken, and mushroom soup in a large bowl.
- In a glass casserole dish place the cooked rice into the bottom of the dish.
- Pour the chicken broth on top of the rice casserole.
- Top the rice with the broccoli, chicken, and mushroom soup mixture.
- Add cheese to the top of the casserole, if desired.
- Bake the casserole at 350*F for 30-40 minutes, until chicken is thoroughly cooked.
